About The Position

The Diabetes Care Specialist (DCS) at Novo Nordisk is responsible for achieving sales goals by implementing marketing and sales strategies to effectively promote the company's portfolio of diabetes and cardiometabolic products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and office staff. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, understanding the local payer market, and tailoring approaches to meet customer needs. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Pharm D required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in Pharmaceutical/Healthcare, Sales, Consulting, Customer Service, or Military preferred.
  • Relevant Novo Nordisk experience preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel) required.
  • Self-starter with decision-making ability and minimal supervision.
  • Solid understanding of diabetes disease state and Novo Nordisk's products.

  • Evaluate territory business opportunities and create business plans.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accountability.
  • Control samples and company property in accordance with policies.
  • Demonstrate understanding of disease states and treatment options.
  • Participate in sales and marketing meetings, training programs, and conventions.
