About The Position

The Diabetes Care Specialist (DCS) is responsible for achieving sales goals by implementing marketing and sales strategies to effectively promote Novo Nordisk's diabetes care products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and office staff. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, understanding the local payer market, and tailoring approaches to meet customer needs. The DCS will utilize analytical tools to develop territory business plans and collaborate with internal teams to drive business impact while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Pharm D required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in Pharmaceutical/Healthcare, Sales, Consulting, Customer Service, or Military preferred.
  • Relevant Novo Nordisk experience preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel) required.
  • Self-starter with decision-making ability and minimal supervision.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Solid understanding of diabetes disease state and Novo Nordisk's products.
