About The Position

The Pharma Buyer at ITA Group Inc serves as the primary liaison for clients and leads presale activities for assigned programs. This role involves negotiating program components, recommending suppliers, and developing innovative products and services to enhance customer value. The Pharma Buyer is responsible for managing client relationships, negotiating prices and contracts, and delivering effective sales presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Three (3) years of related work experience in a negotiator role or similar position within the hospitality/incentive industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent negotiation skills in program design and contracting.
• Vast knowledge of legal terms and conditions related to 3rd party contracts such as hotel, DMC, A/V, etc.
• Ability to build rapport and collaborate with Event Management team members and internal/external customers.
• Excellent time management, strategy, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in business communication, both written and verbal.
• Technical writing and client presentation experience.

• Customer service experience in a service-related industry.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary client liaison and presale lead for assigned programs.
• Negotiate critical program components based on client requirements from initial request through contract completion.
• Recommend supplier and destination options and solutions.
• Develop creative, innovative, and competitive products and services that increase ITA Group's value to customers.
• Proactively negotiate prices and contracts and create preliminary budgets.
• Develop and maintain geographic expertise for delivering sales presentations.
• Act as a subject matter expert regarding destinations, hotels, and events.
