About The Position

We are seeking a Full Time Pharmacy Technician in Phoenix, AZ!! Requirements

Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
Active state license or national certification (CPhT) required per state regulations.
Pharmacy Technician experience preferred

Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment such as calculators, copy machines and printers up to 100% of the time;
Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively over the phone and in person;
Must be able to see 100% to perform various tasks
This position will require standing, walking, & periods of remaining stationary; may also require bending, kneeling, reaching and stooping;
Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time; Initials
Must be able to tolerate normal office environment and exposure to various medications;
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist in preparing, packaging, labeling, and distributing prescription medications
Maintain proper inventory levels of pharmaceuticals, including controlled substances; perform regular stock checks and assist in ordering supplies.
Enter prescription orders and patient information accurately into pharmacy management systems.
Manage returns, expired medications, and disposal of pharmaceuticals according to policy and DEA regulations.
