About The Position

We are seeking a Full Time Pharmacy Technician in Phoenix, AZ!! Competitive Pay Rates Join our dedicated team as a Pharmacy Technician at PharmcareUSA in Phoenix, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the healthcare needs of long term care individuals. In this position, you will work closely with a licensed pharmacist to ensure the safe and efficient distribution of medications. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to accuracy and patient care to help us maintain high standards in pharmaceutical services.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
  • Active state license or national certification (CPhT) required per state regulations.
  • Pharmacy Technician experience preferred

  • Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment such as calculators, copy machines and printers up to 100% of the time;
  • Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively over the phone and in person;
  • Must be able to see 100% to perform various tasks
  • This position will require standing, walking, & periods of remaining stationary; may also require bending, kneeling, reaching and stooping;
  • Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time; Initials
  • Must be able to tolerate normal office environment and exposure to various medications;
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Assist the pharmacist in preparing, packaging, labeling, and distributing prescription medications
  • Maintain proper inventory levels of pharmaceuticals, including controlled substances; perform regular stock checks and assist in ordering supplies.
  • Enter prescription orders and patient information accurately into pharmacy management systems.
  • Manage returns, expired medications, and disposal of pharmaceuticals according to policy and DEA regulations.
