Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Phantom Works Division is seeking an Associate or Experienced Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineers with an emphasis in fluid thermal system design for advanced aircraft development programs located in Hazelwood, MO. BDS Proprietary programs develop complex, highly integrated, advanced systems, enabling future growth for Boeing and our Department of Defense (DoD) Customers. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Level 2: 2+ years of working experience with a Bachelor's OR a Masters degree OR a PhD
  • Level 3: 5+ years of work-related engineering experience with a Bachelor's or 3+ years of work-related engineering experience with a Master's or work-related engineering experience with a PhD
  • Experience with 3D solid modeling software applications (e.g. NX, Catia, CADD)

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design
  • Support the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups
  • Perform and document analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
  • Contribute to supplier development, test and production activities and direct the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goal
  • Support system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation
  • Training others
