About The Position
The position involves training other Package Handlers (PHs) on loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning techniques to ensure efficient and safe movement of packages through the operation. The role is responsible for the physical loading, unloading, and sorting of packages by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and placing packages safely and efficiently. Package Handlers may rotate through various areas and positions such as Loader, Unloader, Palletizer, Scan Weigh and Key (SWAK), Quality Assurance (QA), Facer, and Switcher.
