About The Position

The PhD Intern position at PNNL focuses on contributing to research in quantum computing for power system applications. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a PhD program at an accredited college.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
  • Pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with quantum computing techniques such as variational quantum circuit, quantum approximate optimization algorithm, and quantum annealing.
  • Experience with hybrid quantum-classical computing systems.
  • Experience with power system optimization.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
