The role requires designing, recommending, monitoring, and evaluating patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens based on relevant biomedical literature, implementing recommendations effectively, and documenting in the appropriate format. The resident will also participate in the management of medical emergencies, support medication safety and quality improvement activities, and collaborate with the healthcare team to manage formulary adherence and the medication-use process. Additionally, the resident will mentor and train pharmacy students, check the accuracy of pharmacy support team members' work, and perform activities as outlined in the residency program's design.
