About The Position

The VP of Data Governance at PGIM Real Estate is responsible for leading the data governance initiatives, establishing a comprehensive framework for data management, and ensuring the adoption of data governance practices across the organization. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in leading data governance development in an Investment Management firm.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL, and various MDM tools.
• Strong project management, problem solving, and process management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PGIM's data governance strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Build and lead a data governance team to ensure effective execution of the data governance program.
• Establish a comprehensive data governance framework, including policies and procedures for data management and quality.
• Implement and manage an enterprise-wide Master Data Management (MDM) program.
• Design and implement data quality frameworks, including metrics and monitoring processes.
• Evangelize data governance practices and foster a culture that values data as a strategic asset.
• Lead change management initiatives to drive adoption of data governance practices.
• Conduct training and awareness programs on data governance importance.
• Collaborate with Information Systems teams and business units to align data governance initiatives with business needs.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and identify data-related risks.
