About The Position

The Multi Asset Investment Associate role at PGIM Quantitative Solutions involves supporting the Multi-Asset Portfolio Management Team by assisting Portfolio Managers in various aspects of the investment process. The position requires strong technical skills, a passion for investments, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate will contribute to performance attribution, market commentary, investment model monitoring, and macroeconomic research to enhance investment strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• 1-3 years of experience in tactical asset allocation and/or multi-asset investing.
• Strong quantitative skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and deliver high-quality results in a timely fashion.
• Effective communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• A Master's Degree in finance or economics and/or progress toward a CFA.
• Programming skills in MATLAB or Python and working knowledge of SQL.
• Working knowledge of financial derivatives (options, futures, forwards, or swaps).

Responsibilities

• Assist Portfolio Managers in the Multi-Asset team with implementation of all dimensions of the investment process.
• Compile performance attribution metrics and contribute to commentary on market views, client presentations, and portfolio positioning.
• Monitor investment models and data, providing input on recommended portfolio positioning.
• Develop macroeconomic and market research to enhance the firm's investment strategies.
