Position Specific Description This position sits within the Power Generation Division which is responsible for all of NextEra Energy's non-nuclear generation operations, exceeding 40,000 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity. The plant is 320 megawatt combined cycle generating facility located in Bellingham, MA. In addition to the responsibilities below, this individual will work an 8-hour Monday-Friday shift. This person will train/coach teams of technicians in the safe operation and maintenance of power plants. They will also develop monthly reporting on generation and other site indicators. Nice To Haves
- State of Massachusetts 1st Class Stationary Engineers License
- Experience with supervising or operating combined cycle power plants - Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs), combustion turbines, and steam turbines
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
Responsibilities
