This is a Site Engineer role within the Transition & Operations Development Program, a structured three-year pathway designed to prepare individuals for full operational responsibility of a solar and/or battery storage facility by Year 3. The program provides hands-on technical experience, field training, and exposure to large-scale renewable energy assets. In Year 1, the focus is on transition team training, including project commissioning, site inspections, documentation review, and learning SCADA/monitoring platforms. Year 2 involves hands-on operations and maintenance training, covering preventative/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting various systems, performance analysis, and applying safe work practices. Upon completion in Year 3, the individual will transition into a full-time site operations role, responsible for day-to-day operation, maintenance, safety oversight, and long-term performance of an assigned site. The role also entails acting as the site safety manager, ensuring environmental compliance, and independently applying engineering techniques to solve problems. Engineers will spend significant time in the field troubleshooting and repairing solar and battery facilities, performing routine maintenance, and conducting root cause analysis. The position requires a highly motivated individual capable of working independently and as part of a team.
