We have an immediate opening for a PFMEA Manufacturing Engineer at our aerospace location in Rockford, ILL. The primary focus of this role is to create new and update existing PFMEA's [Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis].

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field with 2-3 years' experience preferred
  • In lieu of degree 8-10 years' experience acceptable
  • Previous PFMEA development experience required
  • Manufacturing/Assembly experience required (Understanding routings and process steps)
  • Extroverted and approachable
  • Excellent Communication skills required with employees and leadership
  • Aerospace experience preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Manage creation of new PFMEA's and updating of existing PFMEA's
  • Analyze process steps to identify possible errors/failures
  • Provide multiple plant site support on the Rockford campus
  • Support Plant Production and Design events
  • Participate and communicate with cross functional groups
