About The Position

The Petting Zoo Attendant at Animal World & Snake Farm is responsible for creating a safe and enjoyable environment for both guests and animals in the Petting Zoo. This part-time role involves customer interaction, animal care, and maintaining cleanliness within the zoo area.

Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow specific instructions
• Ability to communicate activities and observations clearly in writing and verbally

Nice To Haves

• Previous animal or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers upon entering the Petting Zoo
• Possessing knowledge of species and individual animals within the Petting Zoo
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the Petting Zoo
• Ensuring the Petting Zoo is safe for animals and customers
• Reporting any animal issues or observations to Mammal Department staff
• Observing all company policies & standards
• Utilizing exceptional communication skills with the general public
• Anticipating visitors' needs and desires
• Performing other related duties as assigned
