About The Position

Petroleum Technician – Construction and Contracting Division TTI Environmental, Inc. is an integrated environmental services contractor and consulting firm. TTI services government, industrial, commercial, academic, financial, and private clients nationwide and is headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey. TTI is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Petroleum Technician in the Construction and Contracting Division. Knowledge of underground and aboveground petroleum equipment installations, upgrades, repairs, closures and general environmental construction, concrete, excavation, etc. is required. This is an on-site position – traveling and working in the field. TTI is a growing and dynamic team environment with excellent benefits and advantages. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ field experience with petroleum equipment systems is required
  • Experience in construction sites and ability to follow and demonstrate basic safety principles
  • Experience with piping systems, spill, overfill and secondary containment systems
  • Knowledge of monitoring systems, and fuel management systems
  • At least 18 years old
  • The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed
  • Local and extended travel is required
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Local travel is required
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a pre-employment screen and physical
  • Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Construction OSHA 10 or OSHA HAZWOPER Certification is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare construction sites each day by preparing materials, tools, and equipment
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and PPE requirements
  • Assist foreman, supervisors, crew workers, as needed
  • Ensure construction equipment and tools are maintained and stored properly
