About The Position

Petroleum Service Technician is responsible for maintaining all Petroleum/Point of Sale equipment at True North Energy Solutions customer locations. The Petroleum Service Technician will work closely with all other Service Technicians, Service Manager/Dispatch, Project Managers, and site personnel. Emphasis is placed on safety, consistency, teamwork, positive work attitude, excellent customer service and maintaining exceptional overall store operating conditions. Petroleum Service Technician reports directly to the Service Manager. Essential Functions of the Job Troubleshoot, service and install petroleum equipment, including but not limited to: fuel dispensers, automatic tank gauge systems, point of sale systems, fuel tank components Technician will also troubleshoot lower level issues with electrical and network communication components. Follow all safety rules, using proper safety equipment as needed Ensure equipment is functioning correctly and safely. Conduct inspections on petroleum equipment as required Open and close work orders through software system with accurate details and in a timely manner. Maintain organized inventory on service truck. Maintain company service vehicle (keep interior/exterior clean and oil/service on time and up to date) Participation in on call rotation

Requirements

  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and software.

  • Technical training and experience in related fields desired.

  • Franklin Fueling
  • Red Jacket
  • FE Petro

Responsibilities
