About The Position

SCOOP SOLDIERS OF TEXAS is seeking a full-time Pet Waste Technician to provide dog poop scooping services to residential clients on established routes. The role involves working independently, driving a company truck, and ensuring the safety of both the technician and the dogs while performing the service. The position requires a love for dogs, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• Must be a dog lover with the ability to recognize dog behavior.
• Clear criminal background check required.
• Valid Texas Driver's License is mandatory.
• Clean driving record is essential due to extensive driving.
• Must be honest, reliable, and responsible.
• Ability to work early hours, starting at 7 AM.
• Professionalism and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Physical capability to work in various backyard terrains and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar role or pet care industry.
• Familiarity with dog behavior and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Scoop dog poop in clients' yards following a grid-like pattern.
• Double check the yard for any missed areas before leaving.
• Secure gates after service and take photos of secured gates.
• Email clients with gate photos after service completion.
• Drive safely between scheduled clients' yards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and management regarding service issues.
