We are seeking a PET Nuclear Medicine Tech for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you would perform all established nuclear medicine procedures, perform required calibration and quality checks, and practice radiation safety while observing universal precautions at all times.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (ARRT-N) Nuclear Medicine Technology must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all established nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Perform required calibration and quality checks noting results in appropriate logs.
  • Order, prepare and store radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Administer intravenous or venous line injections of radiopharmaceuticals as authorized by physician.
  • Administer radioisotopes parenterally when legally permissible.
  • Interact with physician to adjust diagnostic studies program/plan.
  • Manipulate raw data and review studies for correct positioning and overall quality.
  • Perform decontamination procedures and maintain security of all 'hot' and 'decay' areas.
  • Participate in on-call duties and/or work variable shifts to meet department needs.
