We may be the perfect fit for you! Our experienced full-service pet stylist is looking to build the next generation of pet groomers. We are accepting applicants to join our growing grooming team — no prior grooming experience required. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and learn on the job with an accomplished and experienced pet stylist. About Us Spot On Veterinary Hospital & Hotel operates out of a state-of-the-art 16,000 sq ft facility located on the border of Old Greenwich and Stamford. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking a select group of motivated individuals to join our close-knit, highly specialized team. Grooming assistants support professional stylists with many aspects of the pet grooming process. Their compassionate presence plays a vital role in the daily operations of our hospital and hotel. This is a hands-on, team-driven position with significant opportunity for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Washing and drying pets
- Brushing and blowouts
- Providing water and walking pets as needed
- Attending to the daily needs of patients in our care
- Cleaning and disinfecting salon and spa areas
- Maintaining grooming equipment
- Sterilizing salon instruments
- Setting up tools and supplies for stylists
- Learning compassionate and safe restraint techniques during baths and brushouts
