We are looking to hire a full-time groomer/pet stylist for our busy general practice. The is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced groomer to join our team! Ideal Candidate: Excellent animal handling and professional customer service skills Strong knowledge of grooming techniques for all breeds of dogs and cats Ability to perform grooming services, including clipping, medicated and general cleansing, parasite control baths, pedicures, medicated dips and ear cleansing, as requested for each pet Ability to groom several dogs per day in a busy practice environment Maintain a proper grooming room, including but not limited to: cleaning cages, tubs and grooming tables; vacuuming and mopping the floor; cleaning clipper blades, scissors and brushes after use Recommend retail products that would aid in home grooming care of pets This position requires regular on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Due to the nature of veterinary hospital operations, in-person attendance is necessary to support patient care, respond to time-sensitive needs, collaborate with clinical teams, and maintain the safety and well-being of patients, clients, and staff.
