About The Position
We are looking to hire a full-time groomer/pet stylist for our busy general practice. The is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced groomer to join our team!
Requirements
- Excellent animal handling and professional customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of grooming techniques for all breeds of dogs and cats
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services, including clipping, medicated and general cleansing, parasite control baths, pedicures, medicated dips and ear cleansing, as requested for each pet
- Groom several dogs per day in a busy practice environment
- Maintain a proper grooming room, including but not limited to: cleaning cages, tubs and grooming tables; vacuuming and mopping the floor; cleaning clipper blades, scissors and brushes after use
- Recommend retail products that would aid in home grooming care of pets
