About The Position

A Family Farm and Home Pet Groomer will bathe, brush, clip and groom a customer’s pet in accordance with Family Farm and Home standards. The Pet Groomer will also answer customer calls and schedule appointments as necessary as well as perform all required maintenance duties in the grooming department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities, Include but are not limited to: A. Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values.B. Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.C. Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by store management.D. Uphold merchandising, store cleanliness and safety standards.E. Answer customer calls and schedule appointments in a timely and polite mannerF. Perform all requested functions of grooming G. Properly fill out invoices for paymentH. Maintain accurate customer recordsI. Maintain safe and clean equipment as well as a neat and orderly work areaJ. Solicits customers to sign up for Family Farm and Home Programs, i.e. loyalty program, extended warranties, financing and item of the month.K. Answer customers’ questions and provide information on procedures and policies.L. Participate in team meetings as scheduledM. Contributes to a positive working environment for all team members.N. All other duties as assigned by store management or company official. Pet Groomer Requirements: A Family Farm and Home Pet Groomer must have the ability to communicate and interact successfully with customers and co-workers. They must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings. A Pet Groomer will have the ability to efficiently handle all pets being groomed in a safe and humane manner. They will also need to demonstrate a commitment to excellent service and customer satisfaction. A successful Pet Groomer will be a strong team player yet still be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They must contribute to a positive working environment for all team members. The Pet Groomer must have a minimum of 2 years grooming experience.
