About The Position

The PET/CT Technologist position at Shared Medical Services involves performing imaging procedures using a state-of-the-art mobile scanner. This role is essential in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during imaging processes. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in various facilities and engage with diverse patient populations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program and/or Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Registered/registry eligible: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N).
  • Ability to receive permit to practice(s) as necessary.
  • Ability to produce quality special imaging with little supervision.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

  • Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Perform equipment quality check and adhere to quality assurance guidelines.
  • Maintain compassionate patient care, comfort and safety, while ensuring patient confidentiality.
