About The Position

Pet Care for Cats/Dog for Senior Clients, Weekdays, evenings, weekends available.
Most shifts shorter than an hour.

Assisting Hands Home Care is a trusted home care agency helping seniors in our community. Many of our clients need someone to care for their beloved pets while they attend appointments, run errands or need a little extra support. Most of the work involves, feeding, litter box maintenance, pet walking and companionship.

Requirements

• Age 18 or older
• Responsible, reliable, and compassionate
• Previous experience with pet care preferred
• Comfortable handling cats and dogs and following simple instructions
• Must have reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

• Gain experience in caregiving and pet care
• Make a difference in seniors/ lives and their pets' happiness

Responsibilities

• Visit Senior home to care for pet
• Feed and provide water to dog or cat
• Walk pet (if dog)
• Clean litter box and tidy pet area
• Offer companionship and gentle attention to pet
• Document visit and communicate any concerns to Assisting Hands office
