About The Position

Hidden Hills Animal Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Kennel Care Aid to join our amazing team! We are looking for someone who is a committed individual with a solid work ethic, is punctual, and loves working with our pet guests. This is a physical position; you will be walking, bathing, and playing with dogs, providing enrichment for both dogs and cats, as well as general housekeeping duties. You are the right fit if you love dogs, possess a positive attitude, have a great work ethic, patience and a calm demeanor around dogs & people. Flexibility, proper communication skills and being courteous around Clients & teammates are also a must! You must be reliable seeing that you will be dealing with live animals, who depend on you! You need to be able to work independently just as well as part of a team, practice diligent attention to detail, be tolerant of loud environments (barking), dog waste, odor and hair, physically 'fit' to perform the required tasks and able to lift and or carry at least 40 lbs. with no restrictions. You must be 18 years or older and have your own, reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Flexible schedule including some weekend/holiday shifts.
• Must be able to work split shifts on rotating weekends.
• Must have the physical and mental capacity to perform in a fast paced and challenging environment.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry 40+ lbs.
• Previous experience as a kennel technician is a plus.
