They apply chemical pesticides, set traps, seal entry points, and advise customers on sanitation, working in various, often demanding, environments to ensure safety. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in Pest Control
Valid driver’s license compliant with REAL ID Act or willing and able to obtain one
Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Regular, dependable attendance
U. S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations
Must lift 75 lbs. unassisted
Must work in extreme weather conditions - summer peaks at 120° Fahrenheit
Must wear appropriate Person Protective Equipment (PPO)

Responsibilities

Inspection and Identification: Conducting thorough, on-site inspections of buildings, attics, crawl spaces, and surrounding grounds to identify pest types, entry points, and damage.
Treatment Application: Applying pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, and, in some cases, fumigants safely and in compliance with regulations.
Preventive Measures (Exclusion): Sealing cracks, holes, and gaps with materials like caulk, mesh, or foam to prevent future infestations.
Trap and Bait Installation: Setting mechanical traps, such as snap traps or glue boards, and placing poisonous baits in strategic location
