In this role, you'll spend your day on the road within your community solving pest challenges, building long-term relationships with your clients, and protecting homes and businesses from dangerous, destructive, and disease-carrying pests. Modern Pest welcomes all applicants, regardless of prior pest management experience. We offer a hybrid training program, which integrates classroom learning and on-the-job mentoring with a team of experienced techs. Within weeks, you'll earn required state applicator licenses and begin working independently. Upon successful completion of training, you'll receive a company-owned vehicle with gas card for all work-related driving, including to and from your home daily. To reduce unnecessary drive time and be as efficient as possible, your route will be scheduled within reasonable driving distance from your place of residence. In this role, you'll conduct comprehensive inspections to identify and understand pest activities, then implement treatment plans to remedy infestations. Job duties will include treating affected areas with chemical and natural products, as well as setting up traps and bait in suspected high-traffic areas. In many cases, you'll return after performing initial treatments to determine if additional procedures are required and/or to remove deceased pests. At Modern Pest, we value hardworking individuals with a strong customer service mindset, and welcome those seeking a new opportunity, a career change, a supportive team with growth opportunities, or a management team that sets you up for success. Job Type: Full-time, year-round, benefit-eligible.
