Pest Control Technician
About The Position
As a Pest Control Technician, you will work independently and travel from your home to various residential and commercial customer locations using a company-provided vehicle. You will act as a detective for our customers by identifying signs of pests, determining the type of pests, and creating a plan of action based on your findings. Adam's offers extensive paid training to get you licensed, guided by our certified Ph.D. Entomologist who customizes the experience to match your learning style. You'll continue to receive ongoing paid training to further develop your expertise.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Able to pass a medical exam, drug screening, motor vehicle record check, and criminal background check
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a variety of environments
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections to determine the necessary treatment approach for eliminating and preventing further infestations.
- Perform general pest control services as needed to eliminate or control rodents, insects, or other services offered in accordance with company policy and within governmental requirements
- Educate customers on effective pest prevention strategies, including proper sanitation, storage, and landscaping practices.
