In a Pest Control Technician position, you will have a daily route where you will treat customers' homes with various pest control treatments, techniques, and inspections. You will strive to solve customers' pest concerns while exemplifying excellent customer service, maintaining customer relationships, and providing strategic recommendations. Requirements

  • 6+ months of home-visit technician experience
  • 6+ months of sales experience
  • 6+ months of customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal communications skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • You must be 18 or over
  • You must have a current valid driver's license
  • You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • You must be clean-shaven for safety purposes (may occasionally wear a respirator)
  • You must be comfortable going into crawl spaces and attics

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in pest control, HVAC, solar, internet, cable, running an independent route, face-to-face customer service, or other types of in-home technician experience

Responsibilities

  • Treat customers' homes with various pest control treatments, techniques, and inspections
  • Solve customers' pest concerns while exemplifying excellent customer service
  • Maintain customer relationships
  • Provide strategic recommendations
  • Treat approximately 12 to 14 homes per day
  • Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to find any points of entry for insects and rodents while identifying any pest infestations and coming up with appropriate treatment plans
  • Communicate clearly with customers about any findings you have and share treatment plans, preventative measures to take, and any additional services we offer to help keep our customers pest-free
  • Go to our warehouse located in Nashville, TN for meetings, training, restocking of supplies, etc.

  • Wage comparable to $20 - $25 / hour (base pay + servicing commissions + sales commissions + monthly bonuses)
