Pest Control Technician

We’re a locally owned pest & mosquito control business growing quickly and looking for an experienced pest tech to help us build up this service. As a Pest Hunters Technician, you’ll be the friendly face our clients trust. Your day will include: Service Delivery · Perform residential and commercial pest control treatments · Inspect properties, identify pest issues, and recommend solutions · Apply treatments in accordance with national and NJ regulations and best practices · Document work accurately in our field service software Customer Relationships · Build trust with homeowners and business owners · Educate customers on prevention and long-term solutions · Deliver the kind of service that generates great reviews and referrals Business Development · Identify opportunities to help neighboring properties · Look for commercial accounts that could benefit from our services · Contribute to growing our customer base through great work and smart outreach
Requirements
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Strong customer service skills — you represent us in people’s homes and businesses
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Eye for detail and commitment to safety
- Valid NJ driver’s license with clean driving record
- 1+ years pest control experience (residential or commerciall)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, takes pride in quality work
Nice To Haves
- NJ 7A (General Pest) and/or 7B (Termite) Pesticide Applicator License
- Experience with ants, roaches, rodents, wildlife exclusion
- Commercial pest control background
- Experience in pest control, landscaping, construction, or maintenance
- Managed small teams or trained others in any setting
- A passion for leading others and taking ownership of results
