About The Position
The Pest Control Technician, CF, at High Desert State Prison (HDSP) will supervise and work with one incarcerated individual in the control or eradication of various pests including roaches, ants, snails, silverfish, spiders, mosquitoes, and other insects, as well as birds, rats, mice, rabbits, and weeds. The technician is responsible for keeping pest control permits and licenses current, maintaining ongoing training documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role involves monitoring assignments through the Plant Operations digitized work order platform and reporting usage of assigned shift time and work task completion data.
