About The Position

Requirements

be at least 20 years old
be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
have a valid drivers license and obtain authorization to drive a company vehicle (on or before his or her start date in the position)
be able to obtain a Limited Structural Pest Control License in Florida within one year of his or her start date in the position
be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
be able to move a minimum of 200 pounds
be able to stand for long periods of time
be able to bend, climb, stoop, and twist
be capable of generating and processing work on a computerized maintenance-management system
be able to use chemicals and equipment that require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
be able to read labels, write reports, calibrate chemicals, and solve math problems
be able to interpret, understand, follow, and communicate instructions
successfully complete the following tests (before his or her start date in the position) Basic Office Skills and Following Written Instructions
have the ability to work well with others and be a team member
show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work and show a commitment to Publix’s mission.
be able to obtain medical clearance to wear respiratory protection (an air purifying respirator) within 2 weeks of accepting the contingent job offer (requires maintaining facial hair in a manner ensuring the respirator fits properly)
