This on-site position reports to the Kailua, HI (96734) branch and services the Hilo, HI (96720) area. The Seasonal Start Technician (Start Tech) is responsible for providing 5-star customer service to new customers and performing the first pest control application by applying chemicals and other manual solutions to eliminate pests.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Possess a valid driver’s license, as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role
- Driving record must meet the company’s insurance standards
- Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided)
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of customer service experience, preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform initial indoor and outdoor pest control applications for new customers, ensuring thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Interact with customers to explain service features and benefits, providing exceptional customer service.
- Follow scheduled routes, communicate with office staff and managers, and maintain accurate, organized records.
- Maintain equipment, vehicle, and personal safety gear in good working condition, while utilizing technology to manage appointments and customer records.
