About The Position

This position contributes to Pepsi’s success by executing standardized training and onboarding programs for marketing equipment service, installation, and repair operations. The role focuses on hands-on classroom and in-field training, technician coaching, and reinforcement of established processes to ensure safe, consistent, and high-quality PES field execution. The role serves as the primary field-facing trainer, delivering approved curricula, supporting technician development, and providing operational feedback to drive continuous improvement in training effectiveness. This position is responsible for facilitating training programs and supporting the development and maintenance of training materials tailored to the needs of technicians, field teams, and customers. Responsibilities include classroom instruction and in-field training at customer accounts or facilities, contributing to the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), collaborating with field partners to identify training needs, and supporting curriculum enhancements. The role also includes managing training facilities, equipment, and materials to support internal and external training initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of operations experience in equipment service industries, focusing on training and customer service.
  • Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractors License (State-Specific), or equivalent certification in HVAC or related fields.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of marketing equipment service, including refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), with the ability to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong networking skills, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external suppliers, field partners, and customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate effective classroom and field-based training for adult learners, adjusting to audience needs and ensuring hands-on, practical learning.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for in-field training sessions and customer site visits. Customer service oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%, work nights, weekends, holidays, and stay overnight for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree of Applied Science in HVAC Technology or a degree from an accredited technical school.
  • Prior experience in technical training, facilitation, or mentoring roles.
  • Knowledge of construction, electrical, and plumbing trades.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom and in-field training sessions using approved curricula, materials, and standards, ensuring engagement and clear communication of content.
  • Deliver standardized onboarding training for new service, install, and move technicians to ensure consistent readiness and safety.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to PES technicians, addressing skill gaps and reinforcing proper service practices.
  • Support the development, deployment, and maintenance of training materials, job aids, and SOPs in alignment with PES standards.
  • Reinforce compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational requirements during all training activities.
  • Collaborate with field operations leaders to schedule training, support onboarding, and address technician development needs.
  • Manage day-to-day readiness of training facilities, equipment, tools, and materials to support effective instruction.
  • Collect field feedback and performance observations to inform continuous improvement of training programs and materials.
  • Track training participation and completion, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting as required.
  • Serve as a technical resource to technicians and field teams, providing guidance aligned with approved processes and standards.
  • Stay current on marketing equipment technology, service practices, and operational updates relevant to training delivery.
  • Support regional or national initiatives, including new equipment launches, process updates, and special projects as assigned.

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $60,600 - $94,450.
