About The Position

USmax Corporation is seeking a Personnel Manager to support the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command (SSC) Military Communications and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Directorate Mission Delta 31. The Personnel Manager will oversee organizational support services at the 3- and 4-letter level, with responsibilities spanning manpower, personnel, training, facilities, and logistics. This role requires strong coordination skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent support functions in a high-visibility environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of personnel management or organizational support experience in defense, aerospace, or related federal programs.
  • Demonstrated success leading HR, training, or logistics support functions for large organizations.
  • Strong skills in records management, asset tracking, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.
  • Training and development certification (e.g., ATD, DAWIA HR) a plus.
  • Familiarity with Air Force/Space Force personnel and facility systems highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage personnel actions and readiness activities for a large, multi-program Directorate.
  • Support in/out processing, deployment logistics, and rostering functions.
  • Track and coordinate manpower assignments to ensure mission alignment.
  • Coordinate Directorate training schedules and professional development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with certification and qualification requirements.
  • Maintain accurate training and readiness records.
  • Oversee records and information management, ensuring compliance with federal and DoD standards.
  • Safeguard and track IT/ADPE assets to support accountability and mission assurance.
  • Support facility coordination, including maintenance requests, facility board participation, and logistics support.
  • Provide timely updates and reports to senior leadership on personnel, training, and facility status.
  • Ensure readiness metrics and organizational support activities are communicated effectively.
  • Serve as a primary liaison to leadership, staff, and external stakeholders on OSS matters.
