About The Position

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Personnel Manager supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC) Military Communication and Positioning, Navigation and Timing Directorate (CG) in the United States Space Force. This position will support the SSC/CG program office as it rapidly premier capabilities resilient to the threat by the relentless pursuit of warfighter needs and acquisition excellence. In this role you will be the primary focal point for interface and coordination with Mission Services (SSC/CGO) and shall provide technical guidance and consultation assistance to managers and employees regarding all areas of the Human Resource, Personnel, and Administrative processes. This is a full-time opportunity located in LA, CA. ***Contingent upon contract award***

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Clearance: Secret
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • At least 9 years of experience in related field

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or higher and at least 7 years of experience in related field OR Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in a related field

Responsibilities

  • Respond to various tasks to include but not limited to data calls, document reviews, acquisition reporting, travel requests, media requests, and other mandatory reporting directed by Congress, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Secretary of the Air Force, Headquarters Air Force, Headquarters Space Force, Space Systems Command, and local entities; ensure responses are approved by the appropriate program office prior to submission to the PEO and release to the originator for closure
  • Complete tasks to include add/delete employees, navigating the database, and support the Government timekeeper in support of the Automated Time Attendance and Production System database
  • Provide support services to include but not limited to providing responses to routine queries; preparing reports, papers, and briefings; reviewing staff packages and recommending changes; organizing calendars; maintaining conference room schedules; scheduling/setting-up meetings and conferences; creating and maintaining staff slides; answering telephones; taking/relaying messages; in/out processing employees; picking up mail; updating and submitting recall rosters; and tracking military and civilian personnel actions for their assigned office
  • Participate in Government directed OSS functional meetings and tag-ups
