The Personal Trainer has the responsibility of developing, implementing, and supervising personalized exercise prescriptions and lifestyle programs with, but not limited to, individuals with different fitness levels, medical concerns, and/or different age populations in order to maximize the safety of each user and to promote the overall health and wellness and quality of life for the client. He/she must possess solid coaching and teaching skills and must have the ability to assess an individual's lifestyle habits, medical history, present level of fitness and goals before designing an exercise prescription for that individual. He/she must have the ability to work closely with other healthcare professionals such as physicians and physical therapists in order to provide an appropriate exercise prescription. The personal trainer is ultimately responsible for marketing his/her personal training services and building a clientele base. Employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.
