The position requires a commitment to fostering a welcoming environment where members feel valued and empowered to achieve their fitness goals. In this role, Personal Trainers are responsible for developing safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive goal achievement and retention. They monitor and instruct clients during personal training sessions, ensuring the safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility, and strength training equipment. Personal Trainers are also expected to engage in all required training associated with their role, which includes conducting fitness consultations for new clients. This involves pre-participation screening, medical history assessments, lifestyle questionnaires, and goal setting to recommend appropriate personal training programs. Additionally, Personal Trainers provide fitness floor assistance to all members, ensuring safety, offering education, and motivating them throughout their fitness journey. They fulfill member service requirements such as conducting fitness assessments, managing equipment operations, and maintaining cleanliness of fitness equipment. Promoting and selling personal training programs and services is also a key responsibility, along with completing all administrative tasks related to each client's fitness plan. To excel in this position, Personal Trainers must remain current on certifications and new trends in the fitness industry, ensuring that all members feel competent, confident, and connected through superior customer service and programming. Documentation of all aspects of client programming is essential, as is ongoing education to advance within the levels program.
