About The Position

We are currently looking for a Personal Trainer to join the Quail West team! Quail West is a leading private golf and country club that prides itself on providing world-class facilities for Members and their guests and an extraordinary and inclusive, yet unpretentious lifestyle. One of Southwest Florida’s most welcoming clubs, Quail West’s courses, facilities and services are shared by a limited number of members to enhance the quality of the member experience. The Personal Trainer delivers a high-quality fitness experience by designing and implementing personalized training programs aligned with each member’s goals and abilities. This role provides both individual training and group fitness instruction while fostering a safe, engaging, and service-driven environment that supports overall member wellness. This is a Part-time position Schedule: 2-3 days a week (must be available to work on weekends) Pay will be commensurate with experience + commission Why Join the Quail West Team? Requirements

  • Computer: Ability to proficiently use Microsoft office, (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Language: Ability to read, write and comprehend correspondence, memos, and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees.
  • Mathematics: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Must comply with all company policies and support a drug-free workplace.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability in all interactions.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in personal training or a related fitness role.
  • Current nationally recognized personal training certification (e.g., NASM, NSCA, ACE, ACSM, or equivalent).
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (American Red Cross or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a variety of group fitness classes and support overall wellness programming.
  • Strong knowledge of exercise science, program design, and safe training practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse membership.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively in a service-driven environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn club management systems (e.g., ForeTees).
  • Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a private club environment.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver personalized training programs tailored to individual goals, fitness levels, and member needs.
  • Monitor client progress, provide ongoing feedback, and adjust programs to ensure safe and effective results.
  • Instruct proper exercise techniques and ensure a safe, supportive, and motivating training environment.
  • Lead group fitness classes, providing clear instruction, appropriate modifications, and an inclusive, engaging experience for all participants.
  • Foster a high-energy, positive class atmosphere while maintaining safety and class flow.
  • Support all fitness operations under the direction of the Fitness Manager, including member engagement, evaluations, and prospecting.
  • Collaborate with the Fitness Team to enhance the overall member experience and execute fitness programs, services, and events.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the fitness center, studios, and equipment, including completing opening and closing duties.
  • Assist with inventory upkeep, including stocking towels and maintaining fitness supplies.
  • Assist with front desk coverage as needed, including greeting members and guests and supporting reservations for training sessions, classes, and events.
  • Utilize club systems (e.g., ForeTees) to support scheduling and member services.
  • Communicate regularly with the Fitness Manager regarding equipment needs, facility updates, and member feedback.
  • Support and participate in fitness events, programs, and club initiatives.
  • Perform all duties with a strong focus on professionalism, member satisfaction, and service excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
