Personal trainers are responsible for the development and incorporation of training programs for members of the Y. The trainer provides accurate fitness information, plans effective programs, and addresses participants’ questions. Personal trainers possess the ability to motivate participants at all skill and fitness levels, along with the ability to identify incorrect lifting techniques and how to correct the individual. The trainer is also responsible for all scheduling of clients and tracking accurate records of clients’ attendance and payment history.
