About The Position

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of three years of personal training experience in a fitness and/or wellness environment or equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Required certifications must remain current. Must have good communication skills with the ability to interact with departments, students, faculty and staff of the College. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Must possess the ability to prioritize effectively; must be able to interact in a diverse community and able to adapt to changing situations. Ability to work under pressure and high level of attention to detail. Must be able to read and interpret documents and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence To perform this job successfully, an individual must have beginner skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) which includes typing memos, letters, and e-mails. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree is a plus.
