About The Position

The YMCA of Orange County is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We are actively seeking highly engaged, intentional, and service-oriented individuals for part-time Health and Wellness Trainers in Orange County. This role is an opportunity to inspire and empower members by delivering personalized, effective training sessions that help them achieve their fitness goals. This position will look to foster genuine connections, practice exceptional hospitality, and create a safe, positive, and enriching environment where every interaction is meaningful. The Health and Wellness Trainer will help to promote healthy lifestyles and reflects our commitment to community well-being. Location: Newport-Mesa Work Schedule: Part-time. Schedule will vary based on client needs.

Requirements

• Minimum Age: 18+ years old.
• 2 to 4 year college degree in Physical Fitness, Kinesiology, or related field required. May provide active Nationally Recognized Personal Training Certification in place of degree requirement.
• First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience in fitness industry preferred.
• Related background in health and/or fitness.
