Tier 1 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Administer Jump Start consultations to YMCA Members Averaging 7-9 paid personal training sessions a week (1 hr., ½ hr., small group training) Help drive the usage of our technology based platforms Interpret assessment results to clients and based on evaluation and client's goals, Design and implement Fitness Programs Effectively communicate prices of Personal Training options that align with members goals Support and follow YMCA policies and decisions and answer member questions about the YMCA and its programs. Attend staff meetings as directed. Tier 2 – Commission of 4% of packages sold for one-on-one or partner personal training ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Administer Jump Start consultations to YMCA Members Equivalent of 10-15 hours of (qualify for incentive program) paid personal training sessions a week (1 hr., ½ hr., small group training) Help drive the usage of our technology based platforms Interpret assessment results to clients and based on evaluation and client's goals, Design and implement Fitness Programs Effectively communicate prices of Personal Training options that align with members goals Support and follow YMCA policies and decisions and answer member questions about the YMCA and its programs. Attend staff meetings as directed. Tier 3 – Commission of 5% of packages sold for one-on-one or partner personal training ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Administer Jump Start consultations to YMCA Members Equivalent of 16-20+ hours of (qualify for incentive program) paid personal training sessions a week (1 hr., ½ hr., small group training) Help drive the usage of our technology based platforms Interpret assessment results to clients and based on evaluation and client's goals, Design and implement Fitness Programs Effectively communicate prices of Personal Training options that align with members goals Support and follow YMCA policies and decisions and answer member questions about the YMCA and its programs. Attend staff meetings as directed. LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES: Inclusion Critical Thinking & Decision Making Emotional Maturity PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Physically able to demonstrate proper exercise form Visually able to observe clients to assure correct training methods, techniques, and positions. Able to read exercise and testing equipment accurately Able to physically demonstrate each area of the fitness assessment, including lifting 35 and 85 pound barbells without strain The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
