About The Position

Advance Rehabilitation is seeking a personable and motivated Personal Trainer / Assisted Stretch & Mobility Specialist to provide personal training and one-on-one stretching sessions for clients. The ideal candidate has a background in exercise science, kinesiology, sports performance, or personal training and enjoys working directly with people to help them move and feel better.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of basic anatomy and joint movement
• Comfortable performing hands-on assisted stretching
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional, reliable, and client-focused
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain
• Professional liability insurance required or must be obtained prior to providing services
• Preferred backgrounds include: personal Trainer, Massage Therapist Exercise Science, Certified Athletic Trainer

Nice To Haves

• Experience with fitness assessment tools and evaluation methods
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Knowledge of stretching, nutrition and wellness coaching principles
• Experience working with diverse populations or specialized fitness needs
• Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., stretching / mobility)
• Experience in a corporate wellness or onsite fitness environment
• Flexibility to accommodate varying client schedules, including early morning, evening, or weekend availability as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one assisted stretching sessions or personal training sessions for clients
• Guide clients through targeted stretches based on individual mobility and comfort levels
• Monitor client response and adjust stretching techniques or sessions to ensure safe and effective sessions
• Educate clients on flexibility, movement, and recovery strategies
• Communicate clearly with clients throughout sessions to ensure comfort and safety
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment space
• Collaborate with clinic staff to provide a professional client experience
• Document basic session notes when appropriate
