We are looking for a committed trainer who is passionate about training and is looking for a career with opportunities for development and growth. JOB DESCRIPTION The Certified Personal Trainer or Physical or Occupational Therapy Assistant will be responsible for providing one-on-one training sessions with clients in their homes. Must have experience and enjoy working with older adults. Background in corrective exercises or training with post-rehab clients a plus.

Requirements

• Certified Personal Trainer (NCCA, DEAC or NBFE accredited organization) or Licensed Physical or Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Certified in CPR/AED
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have at least 1-2 years of personal training experience; be a licensed physical or occupational therapy assistant, or have a background in corrective exercises or college degree in exercise science, rehabilitation, or kinesiology
• Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, and technical
• Have a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices
• Knowledgeable in varied personal training methods and exercise equipment

Nice To Haves

• Background in corrective exercises or training with post-rehab clients a plus.

Responsibilities

• Customize client workout programs developed from the initial assessment
• Continuously reassess client progress and ensure achievement of goals
• Maintain client session appointments through GYMGUYZ scheduling software
• Adhere to COVID mitigation protocols that reduce the risk of virus transmission
• Able to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments
• Able to demonstrate exercises using proper form and technique
• Able to commute to and from client sessions and transport GYMGUYZ equipment
