PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Works with clients in small group, or 1:1 basis Demonstrates and teaches training techniques and movements. Creates and guides clients with personalized exercise plans and routines to reach fitness goals, with a focus on rehabilitation and improvement. Conducts intake assessments and maintains proper notes for athletic clients – FMS Screening Promotes, develops, and implements safety and injury prevention measures for fitness equipment and exercises. Provides appropriate injury assessment and care, making referrals to other treatment providers as appropriate (Chiropractic Care, OMM, Nutrition, Massage) Monitors and evaluates client progress and adjusts workout plan accordingly. Participates in programs focused on wellness, injury prevention, and fitness for active participants (Group fitness). Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Nationally recognized personal training certification or College Degree in related Health & Fitness fields B.S. Degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program (preferred) Ability to conducts of Functional Movement screening (FMS) (required) 2-4 years of experience in Athletic Training or relevant area. Certified Personal Trainer or Athletic Trainer COMPETENCIES: Must maintain CPR and AED certifications. Ability to provide excellent customer service to accommodate client needs. Flexibility as hours may vary. Ability to develop good rapport with clients. Professionalism and excellent communication skills required
