We are looking for an as-needed/substitute/fill-in Personal Trainer to join our team in Burlington, WI! Number of hours working depends on demand and scheduling. Our Personal Trainers are true professionals. Their sole responsibility is to design customized workout programs and train our members based on their needs. You will be responsible for conducting fitness testing and assessments, advising participants of results, providing one-on-one personal training to members participating in the program, and educating them about the fundamentals of strength and cardiovascular training, as well as the proper and safe use of applicable equipment. Our personal trainers also work on the fitness floor, helping members and keeping the area clean and in order.

Requirements

  • Current Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider.
  • Current Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
  • Willing to obtain Group Fitness Certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems.
  • Flu vaccination required.

Responsibilities

  • Design customized workout programs for members based on their needs.
  • Conduct fitness testing and assessments.
  • Advise participants of results from fitness assessments.
  • Provide one-on-one personal training to members.
  • Educate members about the fundamentals of strength and cardiovascular training.
  • Instruct on the proper and safe use of applicable equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order on the fitness floor.
