About The Position
The Personal Trainer provides an enjoyable, high quality and safe exercise prescription to YMCA members and program participants. This role involves conducting fitness assessments to understand members' current fitness levels and adapting training programs for various fitness levels and preferences. The Personal Trainer must provide clear and concise instructions on exercise techniques, demonstrating proper form and posture to minimize the risk of injury. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for fitness and helping others reach their goals. Patience and empathy are essential to understand clients' individual challenges.
