The Personal Shopper at Sam's Club is a pivotal role focused on enhancing the member experience and maintaining operational efficiency within the facility. This position involves actively developing and supporting membership by providing information on benefits, promoting products and services, and processing memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, while also participating in sales and marketing events to meet membership goals. A key aspect of the role is ensuring the safety of the facility by adhering to all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, and handling hazardous materials responsibly. The Personal Shopper is also responsible for fulfilling Member Fax 'n' Pull and Click 'n' Pull orders, which includes reviewing orders, accurately pulling, scanning, wrapping, and palletizing items, ensuring invoice accuracy, securing items, and managing out-of-stock merchandise. The role requires strong collaboration with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners to complete assignments, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and identify improvement opportunities. Providing exceptional member service is paramount, involving acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving concerns.
