About The Position
As a Personal Shopper at Sam's Club, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the Membership experience by providing comprehensive information about Membership benefits and promoting the value of the company's products and services. Your responsibilities will include processing Memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, as well as participating in various sales and marketing events aimed at meeting Membership goals. You will be expected to maintain the safety of the facility by adhering to all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. This includes conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, and handling hazardous materials according to company protocols. Reporting and correcting unsafe situations to management will also be part of your duties. In addition to safety responsibilities, you will fulfill Member Fax 'n Pull and Click 'n Pull orders. This involves reviewing orders, pulling items from shelves, scanning and wrapping items, and ensuring the accuracy of orders and invoices. You will secure items until Members arrive and follow up on out-of-stock merchandise to meet Member needs. Completing work assignments and priorities will require you to utilize company policies, data, and resources effectively. Collaboration with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners will be essential as you identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations, communicate progress, and recommend improvements. Providing exceptional Member service is a key aspect of your role. You will acknowledge Members, identify their needs, assist with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, and resolve any issues or concerns. Promoting the company's products and services while complying with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity will be paramount.
